I am passionate about student learning environments. I seek to create flexible learning spaces that foster creativity, collaboration and student voice. I am transforming my 3rd library space. My library transformations include a small, private Pre-K through 8th grade school media center in CA; a new STEAM focused magnet elementary school media center in Golden Valley, MN (3rd in US to adopt a bookstore model http://goo.gl/3P7zDa) and now a high school media center (including student tech team, 1:1 Chromebooks, flexible furniture and maker space).
