Starting Fall 2016 the College Board is rolling out a new Advanced Placement course called Computer Science Principles (CSP).   The course is intended to increase enrollment in CS courses while offering a wide range of curricular choices.  In the workshop we will first explore the various options for setting up the course and then focus on making a holiday card with Processing, a freely available Java programming environment available at https://processing.org/, and one of several options for implementing CSP. This learning experience is open to all educators, regardless of experience or grade level. Come explore how CSP can help promote computer science in your school. Processing is a freely available Java programming environment.
