We will explore the creation of Civilization V, an elective course developed by Hopkins North Junior High Social Studies Department. The course is based on the “Civilization V (Civ V): Empire Building Throughout History” a video game by Sid Meier. You will explore world history, and especially the influence of empires, while playing Civ V with and against one another. The class will culminate with a five-paragraph paper addressing the question: What was the world’s most influential empire and why?
