During the past year #KoryTellers was created. Primarily through the use of Twitter, I was able to have educators read books to my kindergarten class at Triton Elementary, located in Dodge Center, a rural community in southeast Minnesota. The readers read to my class via Google Hangouts and Skype. Over the year more than 30 people read to my class. The readers came from 25 states and five countries. Using the hashtag #KoryTellers, I was able to share videos and pictures of the readings. It was an extremely positive experience for my students, myself, and the volunteer readers.
