Science Adventures with Satellite Images

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Not only will you learn how to interpret and understand different satellite images, but also how to use these real scientific observations to teach science from a different perspective. As a picture is worth a thousand words, we highlight multiple free sources of satellite images while providing examples for how to use this type of data with or without a computer. We present several ways students can contribute to ongoing, authentic, space-based science research supported by the National Science Foundation and NASA.
